FAQs

Here are a few of the most commonly asked questions I receive – if you can’t find yours below, just get in touch and I’ll get back to you.

How do I place an order?

It’s easy! Just head to my Etsy shop and find the design that’s perfect for you, add it to your basket, and checkout.
Within a few minutes, you’ll receive an email from Templett with a custom link for you to access your designs and start editing right away. For more information, find out how it works here.

Can I request a different size?

Yes! All of my designs are set up as the most popular sizes, but if you need something different, just add this resize request to your purchase and leave me a note at checkout with the dimensions you need. I’ll then amend your templates as requested, and confirm your changes with you within 24 hours.

Can I add/remove some text on the design?

Of course! You can personalise the design as much (or as little) as you like. All of the wording is editable in text boxes, meaning It’s really easy for you to change. Note: A very small number of products have text elements that are not directly editable due to the nature of the design, but this is always stated in the product listing.

Can I add another page/reverse page to the design?

Yes! Just click the ‘add blank page’ button to add another page. Remember, you can amend nearly everything on the design – change the font, colours, text size, drag the graphics around, and even add your own photos. Try out the free demo in each product listing to see how easy personalisation is.

Do I need to download and install any fonts or software?

Nope! Everything is done instantly in your internet browser, so you don’t need to have any special software, fonts or superpowers to make your own wedding invitations.

Can I try the template before I buy it?

Yes! Just go to the listing description of any design for the free demo link. You’ll be able to edit the design just as you would when you place an order, though you won’t be able to save or download it until after purchase.

Do the templates expire?

You can access, edit, and download your templates for six months from the purchase date. That’s plenty of time for you to get wild with your creations, or print another invite for that guest you forgot about…

Will I be able to create a day invite and evening invite?

Yes. Many couples use the same design to create two invitations, for example, one for their day and evening guests, or one in another language. You’re welcome to edit the template again for this purpose.

What file types can I download?

You can download and save your design as JPEG, PNG or PDF. Generally, PDF will be the file type you need, but check with your printing supplier if you’re not sure.

Will the file include printer bleed or crop marks?

Yes, if you need them to! You can easily save your designs with bleed and crop marks by turning on the ‘crop mark/bleed’ settings when downloading.

Are there any limitations I need to be aware of?

All of my designs and products are created for PERSONAL USE ONLY. As long as you’re planning to print the final designs to use for your wedding day and not to sell, redistribute, or share, then you’re good to go! For commercial enquiries, please get in touch.
